On January 1st of this year everyone was making new resolutions, but I had given up completely. I went through my closet and threw out all my skinny clothes. I was done.
My dad got diagnosed with lung cancer and my brother had a heart attack (at 33!!!!!) In the same week and I just snapped. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired because of something that was completely in my control. I want to be happy and healthy for as long as I can!!
I bought healthy food and ate well for a few weeks before stepping on a scale, so I can't even tell you what my highest weight was, but since I started tracking it, I've lost almost 35 pounds! I'm actually exercising for the first time in my life and it feels amazing!
My ultimate goal is just to be strong and feel good. I know I'll never be a size 2 and that's okay.
