Sugar is my nemesis!

So I'm still totally new to MFP and I'm loving it! However, I am still trying to limit sugars to less than 50 grams a day and finding hard to do so. But what really amazes me is that the AMA recommends that women's sugar intake should be no more than 30 grams a day. HOW IS THAT HUMANLY POSSIBLE?!? How do you limit your sugars?

I believe that is added sugar, not naturally occurring sugar. Added sugar is still difficult because it is not parsed out in labels.0

Remember that MFP doesn't differentiate between natural sugars and additive sugars. It is humanly possible, but when you're first starting out it can be hard. There are days when I go over, and days when I don't. I had a soda yesterday and it killed it, day before I had 39. I don't restrict food, but I pay better attention to what I am eating. Also, if I want a piece of chocolate, it's going to happen.0

@valeriekelly1974 I just finally go off cold turkey but I got major pain relief so I am still <50 grams of carbs total daily of 1.5 years now with goof pain management and better health.0

30g/day isn't hard. 500g of veg at 5g/100g is 25g.0
