Does anyone have any awesome stir-fry recipes? I also heard brown-rice is better than white rice? I am thinking of switching it up!

I make my own sauce. 1-2 t. Chili garlic paste, 2 T soy sauce, minced garlic and ginger, splash of dry sherry or rice wine vinegar, 1T hoisin, black bean sauce and 1-2 t corn starch.
Amounts may vary, but it's super easy. Cook your protein first, remove from pan. Add vegetables to pan (start with the longer cooking ones) and when veg are done add in 1 t. minced garlic, minced ginger and chopped green onions. Cook one minute, then add the sauce and cook til it comes to a boil and thickens.
Add in your cooked protein til warm. Serve over rice. Forget the bottled sauce. I used to eat brown rice, but then I switched back to white... I like the flavor more and only eat it once a month or so. For me, the two aren't that different in nutrition..but most experts say that brown is better. I am going to try the cauliflower rice one day.0 -
Here are some I have tried. They are copycat recipes like our local restaurant.

I have this great recipe. I posted it on my blog the other day. Here is a link. I love it. http://walkingthin.blogspot.com/2015/11/easy-chicken-stir-fry.html
I the sauce makes enough for at least 2 recipes and stores well in the fridge to do so. I don't eat it with rice but you could. I find filling enough without.

If you're not offended by artificial sweetener, here's my favorite Sweet & Sour
Mix the following for sauce:
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Splenda
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 Tbl. corn starch
Drain juice from 1 - 8 ounce can pineapple tidbits.... set pineapple aside
Stir fry pork cubes in a non-stick pan with a little oil (pork is more flavorful if you marinate it first in 2 teaspoons soy sauce & a bit of chopped green onion). Add favorite veggies: green (or red) pepper, celery or bok choy, matchstick (or very thin sliced) carrots, onion wedges. Stir in sauce, cook until thickened. Stir in pineapple.

I thought brown rice was better but I don't think there's much of a difference so check before you buy. Stir fries can be as basic or as elaborate as you like. You can just use soy sauce. If you buy ginger, garlic and chilli they can be used as a base flavour which you add to the pan with oil. Is it just me or do long recipes put you off? Not the one's on here but the long ones in the cook books0
