Bad week; need to get back on track

I've recently switched shifts at work to working overnight and last week was so stressful! I think I must have eaten everything in sight! I am determined to get back on track and find a healthy eating pattern that works with my work schedule. Any advice from night shift workers?

I keep a schedule myself. I find I snack more at night and it was definitely harder at first but over time I got used to it and now I eat regularly even if it is at 2 am.
Oh plus goo protein towards the beginning of my shift to keep myself fuller longer.0 -
This is gonna be a little tasking but it will be worth it in the long run and your days will go more smoothly without the issue of binge eating due to your busy schedule. Thats totally relatable to many. I used to do this myself which ruined my fitness goals and I had to start over or get back on track like you said. But here is the solution I believe will help tremendously. Invest time out of your day to go do some grocery shopping, and I mean serious shopping. If you're not already a Sam's club member, I suggest you become one to save a lot of money because you will be buying in bulk so that you can cook in bulk. Then buy some meal containers, they even sell those at the dollar store for cheap if brand is not a factor for you. Get a good 14 containers. Also small ones for your snacks. Cook your healthy meals in bulk (and I mean meals you actually like, eat and will stick to), divide them in portions into the containers, freeze them and viola, when you're hungry and on the go, just open the freezer, grab the meal of choice and eat away missy! Good Luck and hope I helped blush: ps. Use Sam's for your (frequent) semi to non perishable food items. If you have a large family, then the perishable food items won't go to waste since it will be consumed within a few days.0
