Well it may not be cool but it is coming back and should be carried everywhere especially the gym. Awesome protein hit. Quick and easy.
If your looking for protein go no further than dried meat. Tasty and nutritious and great for loosing weight as the protein supresses hunger.....
Now all you have to do is find a good lean product low in fat, salt and sugar. Enjoy!

I don't eat meat but I love Setian jerky. It's got the right texture and really soaks up flavour.

I've made my own with ground lamb, ostrich, bison heart, and ground turkey in the oven. Not altogether, of course. Heart is very lean and muscly, so it's an excellent choice (little to no fat runoff). I grind it up in my food processor beforehand. Then I add some coconut aminos, salt, pepper, ground garlic, and red pepper flakes. I also like adding unsweetened coconut flakes from time to time to increase the fat and fiber content.

    That's more like pemmican :D

We make our own when we eat it. A dehydrator is a wonderful gadget to have, particularly for things like this.

Some store bought stuff has too many chemicals. A long, long list of them.

I love jerky. I just wish it wasn't so expensive though.
