    true. I hated history all the way through high school, because it seemed like it was only memorizing names, dates and places. My general education history requirement in college opened my eyes.

    TNP had basically a single field of interest in high school, but in college, discovered there were numerous fields of interest and wondered if they should reconsider their planned major.

    When I was doing my practicum I remember there was one of my students that just arrived from another country where it didn't snow. She was SOOO excited, and it was so much fun watching her reaction. She was glued to the window when recess was over.
