    True-adjacent - Years ago someone close to me bought these Chef Tony Miracle Blade knives for me after watching the infomercial. (The paring knife was lost and the scissors have long been replaced.)

    True-ish: this only really applies to team sports, which I do not watch during the Olympics, as I can get a steady diet of them any time. It's the individual competitions which intrigue me, and those remain (AFAIK) largely amateur.
