    False but I've had my yard flooded it ran across our front porch. Had to clean a lot of sand out of the yard and replant grass.

    however...one could live through a hurricane but not necessarily experience it due to being in an altered state (coma/dementia/medication/alcohol/passed out) and be ambivalent regarding their surroundings. 😆
