since I'm new I looked and didn't see answer to this, so does MFP automatically lower your daily calorie allowance each time you reach certain weight loss milestones or do we have to manually change it...if so, how do we do it?

It isn't automatic. It used to prompt you after every ten pounds lost, but you still have to go in and recalculate your numbers.0

ty. finally figured it out. I manually lowered the number slightly.0

"Every time you record your weight in our system, MyFitnessPal checks to see if you've lost 10 pounds since the last time your goals were calculated. If so, we'll ask you if you'd like to reset your goals based on your new weight."
