Hi all.
I don't eat enough protein on my own, so I've recently purchased protein powder. I'm a little lost as to how many ways I can eat it. What are your favorite recipes?
If you are curious, I purchased Life Time Grass Fed Whey Protein (chocolate flavor).
Thank you!

My favourite is 100g of almond milk, 35g of oats, 15g of protein powder and 50g of frozen berries. Microwave for 2 minutes for some tasty porridge! :)

Protein Crepes--One scoop of vanilla protein powder mixed with 4 egg whites. Makes 3 crepes. 281c, 39g of protein, 9g carbs, 3g fat.

You can serve them with low calorie raspberry syrup & a 1/2c of raspberries. Or smear 'em with peanut butter and top with a sliced banana. Mmmmmmm!

Google: Will cooking protein powder destroy it's nutrition.
I think I read in a bodybuilding website that you should not cook with it. Not sure.

    Mug cake.
I throw in protein powder, some cookie flavored coffee creamer, stevia, and maybe a touch of other flavoring (vanilla, butter, etc). Mix, microwave, savor.

And the answer would be "no" http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/muscle-mystery-does-denatured-protein-still-make-you-grow.html

Next time YOU might want to Google it for yourself, before you post something you aren't sure about.

I mix mine in oatmeal and plain Greek yogurt.

Or this. So much this. I need to make it again (I used low fat cream cheese... so tasty!)... http://www.builtlean.com/2013/01/23/protein-cheesecake-recipe/

Have you made any of those? I'm always pretty leery about protein recipes that haven't been tested by others first... I tried a few things that were just not good.

Yes, I made the almond & dark choc cheesecake which was nice, mini blueberry muffins were good but obviously not quite like normal muffins, I also made some protein ball things but I didn't like them, mainly because my vanilla protein powder just had too much artificial sweetener in it for me to have it in such a concentrated form. I wanted to make the tiramisu but never quite got round to it yet.

The OP could have Googled "protein powder recipes", too. That's the whole point of this forum; it's for discussion.
