Does this calorie burn seem accurate?

I always hear people say treadmills over calculate calorie burns, so I've stopped listening to mine and went to a website instead.

This website asks for my weight, time spent on the treadmill, miles completed, and my incline.

By inputting that info, am I getting an accurate calorie burn? It doesn't need to be exact, just in the ball park.

Thanks!

Who knows? Without knowing what your info is and what the website told you it is a complete shot in the dark.

My crystal ball is broken. How about giving us some of the details you'd like us to determine the accuracy of.

Those websites give me exactly the same info as the treadmill, lol.

For what it's worth, I used my heart rate monitor on the treadmill once and it actually gave me 20% more calories than the treadmill. So who knows...

I simply wanted to know if the numbers I'm getting would be accurate because the site asks for all that information. My outcome is different day to day because I mix up my workouts.

We don't even know the website to know if it is typically somewhat accurate or completely off base. There are tons of websites that estimate calories, some using different methods even with the same info. We have absolutely no way of knowing if the particular website you have chosen would be accurate or not.

Still the answer is, who knows? Keeping accurate track of your intake and it will tell you if the webiste is correct.

Just pick a source and be consistent with using that same source. Then you will have good data that you can adjust.

I always used Myfitnesspal's exercise numbers, just as they were given to me - and I ate every single calorie it gave me - and I lost 70ish pounds in eight months. Don't sweat this particular detail, but pick a source and use it consistently so you can know what you've used. It's the only way to create a data-set.

I'm not sure how anyone can give you an answer when you haven't provided any numbers...

This was my experience also. Sometimes as much as 30% more. I quit using the HRM and stick with the machine number.
