Nightmare of a schedule

I started a new job 2 months ago. I was almost under 200 lbs, looking into getting a gym membership, my workout routine was kinda firm. Now I am in an on call position. I don't know my schedule day to day. For example tonight and tomorrow I work graveyard, then I dont know what I work. I am not sure how to manage meals working overnights, or exercise for that matter. I've been just eating whenever I have a chance. I am up 10 lbs and can really see it. I don't like it at all, but don't know what to do about it. I feel like crap. Trying to figure out a plan to get back on track, just not sure how to do it.

Make a plan for each work shift you'd potentially work. Write in your expected sleep hours based on work hours then figure out where meals would fall. I used to have three different jobs, all different hours. I had a little outline of what each day sorta looked like, so one was wake up at 4:30am to get to the gym by 5, done with exercise and shower by 7 and to work, which was done by 1 before a one hour break then onto the next job which went until 7 pm or so. Those days I scheduled a meal after workout around 8am, then I'd eat during the hour break, then again after 7. I've never worked grave yard but the best way is to move your meals around sleep. If you are going to be waking up at 9pm at night for work (or whatever, idk the hours) then you eat breakfast at 10 or 11 pm, a meal 3-4 hours later then 3-4 hours again for dinner. Or whatever works.
If you can't plan too far ahead the best way is to make kind of a blue print of how the day should go. Be flexible and adjust as you actually put it into practice. Take it from me, nip the weight gain now before it's a bigger problem.0
