Sadly I'm not good at cooking plus the fact I don't enjoy doesn't help. I've been doing the whole grilled chicken, fish with salad & I'm bored of it.
Does anyone know any tasty easy recipes (ideally which don't have 1000 ingredients or something hard to find lol)?
Thanks

Hi, I frequently use frozen stir fry with chicken tikka and rice, I just add extra vegetables and spinach, the one I get is just under 200 calories but it's a meal for 2.
For me it's quick and easy to cook in under 15 minutes plus you can add vegetables to your liking, don't know if this is something you might like or not.

I just happen to be perusing on Pinterest. I used "5 ingredient recipes" as something to query on. I found these two quite quickly and by both look good, at least in my opinion.

I don't know if you use a slow cooker but I love mine and it saves me time while food prepping for the week.0 -
Quickie onion soup: Cut up an onion fairly roughly. Heat up a little olive oil in a pot. When the oil is hot, throw in the onion slices. Toast them till they're nice and brown. Then, with about a quarter cup of wine (white or red, but should be dry), stand back, deglaze, pick up the bits on the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon. Season it up. Let it cook up for a bit till it gets thickish, then pour in a couple of cups of chicken, beef or vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and let it simmer for a good half hour.
Tortilla Espanola: Saute onion and potato in a shallow pan till the potato is tender. While this is happening, whip up a couple of eggs. When the potato-onion mixture is ready, take it off the heat, let it cool down a bit then dump it in the eggs. Season it up. Toss it around a smidge while heating a little olive oil in the pan. Dump the egg in the hot pan. Let the bottom solidify. When it's solid enough to do this without making a total mess, place a plate over the pan, take the pan off the heat, turn it upside down so the egg lands on the plate. Put pan back on the heat, slide the egg back. Your egg should now be upside down so the raw side can cook. Let that go for a few minutes while you wash your plate out; when the tortilla is ready, slide it onto the plate. Let it cool a bit before cutting and serving so that some carry-over heat can work its way into the egg.0 -

Oh thanks for sharing. Going to check it out. Long ingredient lists scare me off, lol.0 -
Sandwiches can be healthy and low calorie. Making pasta dishes with veggies as the noodles is easy if you have a spiralizer, $10 at Walmart or Walgreens in the as seen on TV section0

I use Pinterest for almost all of my food prepping. And I've found the import into the recipe builder ROCKS. I adjust just a couple of items to fit my specifics and I'm done.
Btw.....I'm sort of a lurker here and I actually feel honored to have YOU like something I have shared. I really enjoy your posts @Francl27 .0
