Will spinning tone me enough?

Hi everyone
I've been going to spinning now for a few months and the pounds are dropping off nicely, so my body feels very different. I'm just wondering though, if I need to do some more strength based workouts in order to tone more?
Surely uphill climbs on a spinning bike is working to strengthen my muscles?
Any help would be great and please feel free to add me as a friend!

I've been doing a spinning class twice a week for two months now; I've definitely been noticing improvements in my legs and abs. (side note, we do a bit of extra core exercises some days in class, ie planks, various crunches, etc - tho spinning itself can engage your core if you do it properly). I myself just use push ups and tricep dips and such to sort of balance out the muscle toning.0

I spin for about 60 minutes 4 x a week.
In terms of my toning...well my butt!...Well it's perky in a way that squats and donkey kicks and lunges never made it!
I havent noticed that it's toned me anywhere else, but I also row for 30 mins 4 x a week, so that pretty much has sorted my core, arms and back.0 -
Spinning will give you a cyclist's body. If you are looking to have more muscle, then add in some resistance/strength work. 30 minutes of lifting before cycling will do you wonders.0

Spinning / cycling is great for your lower body and cardiovascular system, for a more well rounded approach to fitness I'd add some strength sessions a couple of times per week.0

Ya I do about 600 miles a month on a bike you still need to do some type of exercise to tone the rest of your body.0
