I'm currently in week 5 on my C25K app! I'm looking for others who are currently using the app of who have completed the app or are looking to start, to be friends with! I would love for us to support each other through the good days and bad days.

I just completed day 1.
I wish I could figure out how to get it to connect to MyFitnessPal.
Feel free to add me... warning: there may be some whining0 -
I didn't know you could connect it haha. I read somewhere that you connect it after you complete a workout? Idk I already attempted to complete one today haha so once I actually complete w5d2 tomorrow I'll see if it works!0

I run MapMyFitness while also using my c25k app. c25k prompts me when to walk/run for the program, and then MapMyFitness records my run, route, pace, calorie burn, etc and reports data back to my linked MyFitnessPal account.0

In MFP, go to "Apps & Devices". There are a list of C25K apps that will sync with MFP. If yours is there, click on it and you can connect it to the MFP app. But like I said, not all of the apps are set up to sync with MFP. I use the ZenLabs version and it syncs perfectly.
I'm just finishing the program. Tomorrow is W8D3 for me, so the last run. Looking forward to graduating and moving on! As hard as it seems, you can do this! I am SO not a runner! I have always had like zero endurance. Ever. I ran 30 minutes non-stop yesterday. BOOM!
Just go slow and easy. There is no award for finishing fast. If you struggle, slow down. If you are having trouble with a section, just repeat it. I had issues with Week 6, just could not quite finish a couple of runs (was 40 seconds short on one and like a minute short on another so I repeated the week). Best decision I made.
Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Your brain will try to tell you to stop but your body is capable of much more than you think. Don't listen to your brain, unless you are experiencing pain or discomfort. Injury will derail you more than your stamina will!
Good luck!0 -

I found the app in the list, then click on CONNECT and then it takes me to the home page for ZenLabs.
Thank you so much for the encouragement. Today was tough and tiring and I felt like I had no business doing this.. so hearing the other starting out success stories is wonderful.0 -

It did the same thing for me the first time I went through it. If you exit out and go back in through MFP it should have a status of "connected" now when you go there. When you do your next run, at the end it will ask if you want to post it to Facebook, Twitter, MFP, etc. Just click on the MFP icon, it'll pull up a page and you can submit the data to MFP and it'll post on your timeline and to your exercise totals.
The app always puts down 15 minutes of running @ 5.2 and 15 minutes of brisk walking @ 4.0, regardless of what the workout was that day, so I usually adjust/edit it to get a more accurate count. But other than that, you should be good to go!

Cool, I'll try it again Wednesday and see if I can get it to work.0

I started C25K today. I got the Pro version so it would sync up with my Google Fit app. Google Fit syncs up with MFP, so it's kind of a roundabout way of syncing C25K with MFP.0

I started c25k yesterday and it would be great to support each other.

I just did w5d3 this morning. I have a different app, but I wear my Fitbit which syncs the steps.0

Great thread! I am in Week 7 with 2 days left in C25K. Run my first 5k on the 16th of this month(Flying Pirate in the OuterBanks). Can't believe how much longer I can run now. Also amazed at the vast amount information on running, diet, and gear out there it's almost overwhelming. This will be nice to bounce ideas and tips off of one another.0
