You have to find things that you enjoy doing. A lot of people talk about Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, and it's a great way to tone up! I have tried it, but due to my bad knees and still being about 60 pounds over weight, I had trouble with it, but I plan on trying again. Right now, if I don't go to the gym, I use my dumb bells. You can youtube or google different exercises that you can use, and you can even find a bunch on pinterest.com. Good luck to you!0

I'm about the same. I'm 5ft 7 and about 149 pounds. I'm starting Body Revution when I get back from holiday next Wednesday. I'm in Italy so have probably put on weight anyway!!0

What equipment do you have at home, or are willing to buy? At home I have a range of dumbbells,, a body bar (light barbell), a small bench for step ups, and an exercise ball that can be used for a bench, and some resistance bands, among other equipment.0

I found the 30DS videos online. My cable package also offers Video On Demand which has some free programs on it. When I don't do either of those, I've done C25K and a lot of time on the recumbent bike. Free weights for the arms.0

I do a lot of my exercise at home. The company I work for closed down,so a gym membership is not within my budget right now. Remember that it's easy to be thrifty. Using a box of books, gallon jugs of sand, bags of cans, et cetera work well in place of weights (just weigh them to see how heavy/light they are). I really like 6 week sixpack, and I haven't tried it,but a lot of people see success with 30 day shred. I found both of them on Youtube. I don't always follow the videos though, after a while they don't hold my attention. I always make sure to incorporate squats, sumo squats, chair pushups, planks, side planks with at least 10 dips each, and some form of jackknife crunches. Generally, I like to take in a walk, hike, or jog at least 2-3 times a week (more often if I have the time). Cleaning can also be turned into useful exercise, you just have to incorporate movements that will work muscles. The very most important thing I have learned about exercise at home? Make sure that you have the willpower to do it. Nobody is watching or coaching you,so it's easy to say, "Meh, I will do it tomorrow," and continually neglect it. Best of luck to you!0
