i'm confused
my profile setup has my start weight, goals etc
my activity level is set to sedentary as i'm a stay at home mum so not particularly active
i've set a goal to lose 1.5lbs a week
my activity is set at 6 times a week 40mins
my issue is i do insanity workout 6 days a week do i log this in my exercise goals?
the insanity program estimates i should eat 2000 calories a day to lose weight yet this says i should eat 1350
which is right what am i doing wrong?

My understanding is that you log your insanity as an exercise and then eat back some or all of the calories you burn doing it. This may make up the difference in calories on MFP and on insanity. The other thing you could do is set your calorie goal to how much you should eat and then just use it to track what you do on the insanity program. Best luck!0

When you log your insanity workout calories, MFP will automatically increase your daily calorie goal. For example, if you log your insanity workout as burning 650 calories in 40 mins, your daily calorie goal will increase from 1350 to 2000.
I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly, the Insanity nutrition guide factors in the workout already, hence the discrepancy. Insanity's number would be correct too, assuming you actually burn 650 during their workouts :-) I estimated I burn closer to 350 calories (month one, anyway!) so that's what I enter into my MFP exercise log.0
