What's Your Healthy Little Change for This Week?

As part of my overall lifestyle change plan, I'm making a healthy little change every week. Last week was a permanent ban on late night snacking, which I used to do regularly. My stomach says I'm hungry, but my brain says, "No, you will NOT starve to death without a bag of potato chips or a sugary muffin before bed," and you know what? I haven't! The week before was a renewed effort to hit my step count every day with the help of my Vivosmart, and this week it's hitting the health club at least two nights a week for the rest of the year so I can earn my insurance subsidy as well as burn off more calories.

So what's your own healthy little change for this week?

This is actually a good question for people to be asking themselves. For me; I've made two healthy little changes this week: 1) I've stopped watching and reading the news; it's depressing and this ego driven political season is making me sick to my stomach, and 2) I'm prioritizing my time to get to the gym at least twice a week for 45 minutes to an hour each time.

I added an extra workout on Sunday. And I plan on trying at least one new food this week

I'm just getting over bronchitis so my goal is to start walking again this week on my breaks at work. I coughed my way thru 15 minutes this morning... but it's a start!

The biggest change I've made is to stop drinking soda, period. I'm on week 3 now and I really don't crave it much. I started drinking water with lemon because I hate drinking plain old water. I also told myself that if I don't get up to do my 5 am workout, I must do a workout at night whether it is going to the gym for 30 min or doing one of my Wii Fit exercises. No excuses, period.

More vegtables into my diet this week and not purchasing processed foods.
I won't be eating out at all this week.. (I used to on a daily basis)
