Morning All,
Martyn from Western Australia here, I've joined this community on the back of a 12 month charity fun run campaign that I've started. In order to meet my goal of losing weight and running longer distances I need to manage my diet/exercise better!
I hope to see you all around

Two years in a row, I participated in a 60 miles in 3 days charity walk. In training, over 5 months each year I walked hundreds of miles prior to the event. Each year, I only lost 6 pounds. I changed my body shape, and looked good, but didn't loose significant amount of weight. Looking back, I regret not focusing more on what I was eating - it was a great opportunity to lose 10 -15 pounds and I missed it. My comment: don't assume weight loss, even with hours of walking (I walked at 3.7 miles/hour over 10 miles).0
