Slimming world does not work for me ☹️

Been doing slimming world unsuccessfully I'd say since Christmas! Only lost 6.5 lbs. so giving this a go instead

Hi, same here, I'd only lost 2lb in 2 months and then last night put on 3.5lb ( few extra Easter syns). My own scales knew the truth yesterday morning so I gave myself a talking too and have come back to mfp. I still have a few weeks of a countdown to go and so will use the scales from them .
Looking forward to being more in control of portion sizes and having a lot less sugar.0 -

It really worked for me at a time but then I decided to start logging again with MFP and put in a "good day" for SW and it came out at about 1100 calories which just isn't sustainable over time, especially with going to the gym three times a week. I know every day is different but that's just not enough!

I love slimming world because it's based on healthy,fresh cooked meals. My problem is portion control though so MFP helps me keep track of that. I like the group support at SW and the social aspect.0

Slimming world worked for me for about six weeks . Looking back now i can see why at my first meeting I was told you can eat as much of the free foods as you want IE a whole tin of baked beans as much free chilli and rice as you want . What I have learned since my w/w slimming word days no FOOD is FREE and bloody curly wurlys do you no good . Also learned that they are designed so that you are a repeat customer over the years . I would say on here you are in control of what you eat and as no food is free you might think twice about what you eat . Pick a diet that suits you and learn what foods triggers you eating habits .0

Slimming World doesnt work for anyone. It is a con. Slimming World never tell you how many people put on weight after finishing with their boring plans.... How surprising...0

I'm currently at sw as I have 4 weeks of a countdown left but I'm doing mfp during those remaining 4 weeks. I've lost a stone on sw but that's since January so it's very slow!! I'm. Also getting bored and stuck in a rut with food. Hoping mfp will help me lose a bit faster!0
