Looking to get a fitbit charge (not the HR model) and am seeing a few reviews about that actual band on them falling apart. is this a common issue?

    I've had mine since Christmas and I haven't had that issue.

    The band on mine did fall apart, after about 7 months of daily use, and I've heard of it happening to others. However, Fitbit also seems to be pretty good about replacing units that come apart free of charge if you talk to cutstomer service.

    Hmmm... I have had mine a while and I got a new puppy who thinks it is a chew toy but my band is in perfect condition. I have heard FitBit has amazing customer service though if anything does happen.
