MFP won't add my new foods?

Whenever I add a new food and add it to my meal it deletes a doesnr save into my foods. It's driving me nuts because I can't get a accurate calorie count when the stuff I'm making is home-made. Any ideas what could be wrong???

    I have had issues with the app not adding my recipes. When I add it from my laptop it seems to work, which is frustrating when I only have access to my phone.

    This was happening to me on my phone over the weekend, I would enter a recipe in the builder and when I went to save it I got an error saying it could not upload but that it was saved locally and yet it was not appearing in my list. They would eventually show up on my phone but there was no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes it was 20minutes later other times it was 3-4hours later. I did discover that if I logged on from my laptop the recipes were immediately visible though... :/
