Hi Everyone! I'm really interested in getting the Garmin Vivoactive. I'd love some feedback positive and negative. Thoughts? Thank you so much!!

I purchased one mid-February. Bought it on Amazon with the chest strap. So far, I am loving it. I use it primarily for running, walking and tracking my daily steps. It can also be used for swimming, biking and golf. I like the little reminder to "Move!" when I've been sedentary for too long. I'm still learning new things that it can do.
The screen can be a little dim but I've not really had a problem with it like others have reported.
I'm not sure if you know this or not, but Garmin recently announced that they are releasing a new version of the Vivoactive in May that has heart rate built into the watch (no need to wear the chest strap).
If you have any questions, let me know and I will try to answer!0 -
I bought mine in November. I love it. Typically get 5-6 days on a charge, and I typically run once per day with the GPS.
Like wiginn, I like the reminder to get up and move as well.
GPS locks are quick, and it's pretty accurate on my runs as well. I also like it's multi-sport, so it can track runs, cycling, swimming, and walking. Even golf (I don't use that).0
