I started my weight loss journey in December after my annual doctor's visit. You know that appointment where your doctor tries their best to break it to you that you are now officially obese? That appointment where you try your best not to break down into tears at the nurse' desk? Ya that great appointment. The next day after my appointment, I made the commitment to myself to treat myself better. I stopped drinking pop, gave up Starbucks and revamped my food choices. Signed up on another weight-loss ap and jumped in with both feet.

In January I start led running, I hired a running coach and started training for a 10k. I am currently doing intervals where I run 3 minutes, walk for 30 seconds, repeat for 6 miles. Quarter of a mile of my running goal. Working on cutting back my walking time so I am running it all.

To date I have lost 42 pounds, 11 pounds from my goal weight. I've gone from a size 15 pants and an Extra Large shirts to medium shirts and size 4 pants.
