The vertical red lines on my chart for average weight indicate the day that I had started taking anastrazole, the drug I'm on to try to prevent cancer recurrence (day 355) and the days of my bout with what was likely E. coli (days 580-581). More on the shifts in my weight trends around those events is in my 630-day update.

Here's how my 28 30-day maintenance periods compare:

My twenty-eighth 30 days looked like this:

Weight: I had reached my goal weight of 150 lbs. on Dec. 17, 2013. According to MFP, that would place my net calories at 1600 for maintenance.

Between days 811 and 840 inclusive my weight averaged 148.3 and ranged from 146.5 to 150.

Exercise Calories Burned: I took 1 rest day (0 calories burned) during maintenance days 811-840. My average exercise calories burned for this period equaled 394/day. My highest burn was 477 on April 4, representing 90 minutes of weed-whacking.

On March 17 I crossed the 19,000-mile mark (since Sept. 1, 2012) in my Virtual Ride Around the Equator. This places me at the longitude of Benin City, Nigeria.

Total and Net Calories Consumed: Total calories for maintenance days 811-840 averaged 1884/day and ranged from 1394 (March 17) to 2253 (March 14). Net calories (total calories minus exercise calories burned) averaged 1490/day (93% of maintenance) and ranged from 1022 (March 17) to 1848 (March 31).

Follow-up ultrasound on March 18 showed that most of my blood clot (caused by my chemo port) has dissolved, but it's not entirely gone. I still wear a compression sleeve for some remaining venous swelling, but my GP has given me clearance to have BP and blood work done on my right arm. I'm very happy that my right hand can stop being a pincushion. (Due to lymphedema risk, my left arm is off-limits to BP and needles.) I'm on blood thinner for about another week.

I model the compression sleeve here. People (including health care professionals like my GP) have mistaken it for a tattoo. :-) I got it from the awesome LympheDIVAs.com. This is their "Koi" design.

While waiting for my ultrasound, I played around with ArtRage for Android on my new tablet. (Being able to doodle on the go was one motivator for getting the tablet. Another was wanting Internet access if I land in the hospital again, since they have WiFi and my cell is a dumbphone.) AR for Android is a stripped-down version of the desktop program, but it still has plenty of bells and whistles. I started this doodle while waiting for my ultrasound:

I added my initials and date on my laptop, since the text function isn't available on the tablet version. Here's another piece done on the tablet:
