I'm doing extended breastfeeding, nursing a toddler, anyway I can't seem to drop any weight, I'm set at 1200 calories, should I up my calories? I am doing cardio 5 to 6 times a week min 20 min max 30 right now.has any one had this problem before? What did you do? Thanks

How long have you been eating at 1200 calories? Are you logging really accurately (weighing solids, measuring liquids, logging using good solid nutrition info, etc.)? Unless you are tiny, you should be losing at 1200 within a few weeks.0

I agree with the above, especially if you're breastfeeding. I've read 1500 is the minimum for anyone breastfeeding but that could be wrong. My guess though is you're eating more than 1200 and don't realize. Perhaps try being more accurate in your logging and aim for 1500. That's what I would do for myself or suggest to a friend0

I'm breastfeeding a toddler 3-4 times a day. I would kill anyone on less than 1800 calories. I don't go that low now since I'm at maintenance, but if I were to go that low I'd be losing weight. You are probably eating way more than you think otherwise you'd definitely be losing weight and you'd most likely have supply issues, not to mention be very hangry all the time.0
