Ok guys , I need some help here !! February i weighed 217 and Today i weigh 192.5. I am doing my best to weight train and do cardio as well. My weight loss has been mainly due to changing my eating habits and really watching what i eat ( and boy has it payed off ) . I work in a gym so i aim to workout as much as i can. 3-5 times a week is what i am doing now. Ive noticed my skin Is still loose especially around my legs. I have cellulite which makes me not want to wear shorts in the summer time. Loosing weight isnt helping tone up my body , i do weight training for about half and hour and then usually go for a 20 minute jog.

My question here is should i try supplements ?? Right now i take whey protein and fit it into my meals some how. Like pancakes or a smoothie. But , i was thinking of trying out a natural fat burner such as pharmafreak: ripped freak or cellucar super HD. There is also a supplement that i think would be really good ! It's called Muscle tech: Hydrocycut hardcore ellite, its promotes muscle building while cutting down fat . Which i think is perfect !!! What do you guys think ? :)

No. Do not take those supplements. You are doing the right thing already--watching your food intake to lose the weight, lifting to retain muscle, & doing cardio to get more healthy. There are no supplements that will promote muscle building & burn fat. They are all a huge rip off. Your body will lose fat from where it will. Your skin may or may not sag depending on your genetics. It can take years to recover. You just have to be patient. There are no magic lotions, pills, or dry brushes that will change that either.

As far as cellulite, even thin women have it. Don't let it keep you from wearing shorts.

he only weight those supplements will help you lose is in your bank account.

Seems to me you are doing just fine without them. You have lost 25 pounds in 2 months, that's huge and actually a little fast so yeah your skin has not had time to catch up.

Just be patient. You are doing great.

It would be a waste of your money. You would be far better served expanding your lifting with a good program, New Rules for Lifting for Women, Stronglifts 5x5, AllPro Beginner and the like; and eat at a moderate deficit say a 1 pound per week goal.

If you need to lighten your wallet then any of those will be fantastic. If you want to lose weight or burn fat or whatever nonsense they claim, then they all do the same thing - nothing.

Based on the information in your other thread you lost weight very quickly. You started at 217 in February, which means you've lost at least 3 pounds per week. Slower loss tends to allow the skin to bounce back with the body. Don't go throw your money at supplements. They're a waste and even if they did work you're already losing weight very fast. Any faster and you're going to do more harm than good.

Keep what your doing! Unless you're struggling to find energy you don't need to take any form of supplement except the protein which is great! I am 125 pounds and I still have cellulite learn to love your body until it catches up with the weightloss the only thing I can suggest for it is to moisturize those areas really well with just a basic lotion everyday and drinking lots of water keeping your skin hydrated will help it look better atleast I think it does for me!

Ha! weight loss supplements, the only weight loss supplement that works with body composition is the ones you have to get prescribed from your doctor! most if not all bodybuilding, weightloss supps are just crap, apart from creatine, protein is just powderd food.

Wow ! Thanks for all of the great advice everyone. I take protein because it helps rebuild muscle and it helps me to fit the proper amount of protein into my diet. Bio oil has been great for my stretch marks and i've heard that is i use an exfoliate on my legs it will help smooth out my skin. Ive also heard that tanning can help too ! Using a Skin Firming lotion has worked for a lot of people who go tanning !

Btw hydroxycut, many years ago was a legitimate weight loss supps as it had ephedrine in it,this is now illegal so they removed it. Most now have no proven weight loss ingredients in them now.

Yeah but these ratings are hardly independent, they are often sponsored by the manufacturer and get commission for promoting these items. The truth is, there is no magic pill, just your hard work and discipline, or prescription medicines and surgery!

Since Hydroxycut doesn't "burn fat," and it's the #1 fat burner, I guess that's all you need to know.

Don't waste your money because none of them work.

The only supplements that work magic are the illegal ones. Not to say that hydroxycut wouldn't give you some edge but it would be so minuscule and not worth the money at all.
