Don't know why it should be deleted given that it is not illegal or decriminalized in many countries...and is an approved medical great, net in others....
Anyway, as along it is not impacting your calories (ie uncontrollable munchies) or your will to exercise then I don't see an issue.0 -
Aside from the munchies, which could be detrimental to weight loss, putting any smoke intentionally in your lungs doesn't make too much sense. But if you are in a state, country where it is legal, and you are an adult, you are free to do what you want.0

Eh, it's calorie-free, right? I don't think an occasional toke would have that big a negative impact on your fitness/weight loss. Like everything else - moderation. Just don't eat everything in the pantry an hour later or make a taco bell run.0

I won't mention any names but I know a few people who are very fit and smoke on a regular basis.
Have lost weight while doing it too...
and I agree it's almost legal here in Canada and is legal in some states so not sure why it should get deleted.0 -
Depends on your goals. If it is to just lose weight then as long as you don't binge with the munchies you'll be fine. But, if your goal is to get fit then smoking(anything) will only lower your respiratory capabilities making it more of a struggle when you try to be active.0

It's legal here in Washington. I wouldn't recommend smoking (anything), the cool kids vaporize it these days. Avoid the munchies and bad music.0

Hmmm, I'm in NJ, so I have no experience with legal marijuana. Does anyone from a legalized state have knowledge on whether or not they publish nutritional info for edibles?
OP - While there are other health considerations, I've never seen anything posted that would suggest marijuana has a an effect on metabolism, but I'm sure you can search pubmed for anything relevant. I'm guessing it would be negligible at best. The bigger issue is loss of eating inhibition (the munchies). If you can control that, you should be okay.0 -
i wouldn't work out drunk or stoned, i think its kinda dangerous to play with weights or be physically active when your body isn't on point. too much risk for injury. And usually impaired people make bad food choices , so it can kinda screw up your diet. But anything in moderation is fine if you have a night off and wanna relax.0

You'll be fine.0

I always take a hit or two before going to the gym/running it makes my muscles hurt a little less, I'm more positive, and I breathe easier. Go for it0

The great thing is, if you live an a fabulous state like Colorado, you no longer have to smoke flower... But I do anyway, all the while riding my bike, hiking, lifting, etc. It is a myth that mj makes you lazy. Lazy people are lazy. It also does not affect my eating because I have will power, the same will power needed to avoid over eating in the first place.

Most companies give nutritional info. The good thing is you have to ingest very little calories for edibles to have affect. A 10 calorie punch could have 100 mg of THC. So really 1 dose would be 1 calorie.0
