Cycling challenge

Ive started the cycling challenge and I'm challenging myself to cycle every other day so 3-4 days a week as I haven't got much time ( I go to school ). Before yesterday I cycled only 6.2miles and today I cycled 14.9miles and I'm actually proud of myself but I'm worried because I am very slow and my average speed is 6.2mph

Hey, welcome to cycling! Join us in the monthly cycling thread - http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10362976/april-2016-bike-bicycle-cycling-challenge - we've got people of all abilities and speed and distances. Greg LeMond once said "It (biking) doesn't get any easier, you just get faster" :D

I wouldn't worry about your speed. As you bike more, you build up speed and endurance.
