Disappointing scales results

I know weight loss is not linear but today I got on the scales and for the first time in 5 weeks of 1kg loss per week my weight was up by a pound what made is worse was yesterday was my best day at the gym so was really quite excited about jumping on the scales today hope the scales start moving in the right direction next week and thanks for reading my rant

If yesterday was your best day at the gym, you're probably retaining extra water for muscle repair. If you know weight loss is not linear, you shouldn't let yourself be upset about one week without loss or even a gain, especially when you're averaging 2.2 pounds per week. Hopefully that is at least 1% of your bodyweight or that rate is actually too fast. I can "gain" five pounds in one day just by eating food.0

It sounds like you know that it will happen time to time and this is more of just a pout/whine about it. We all go through it though, so totally understand.
I am still "up" 1lb since I started lifting weights again. So yeah, the scale is bad. hahah and like above poster said I can also gain a few lbs depending on food and water intake each day. Frustrating but oh well.0 -
