Seems I have tried to "diet" before- and it never seems to work. I am changing my viewpoint. After watching my mom die of cancer in December...and her morphine brain saying things she would NEVER say like "your fat and need to lose weight..." - made me realize- this is truth and she has never voiced her thoughts because she didn't want to hurt me. However, it is true and I started to see myself as I was not as- "I've had four kids and this is ok." I have 3 girls and they are watching me - I have to SHOW them that it is important to watch what you eat and what you put in is what you get out. I started with Sparkpeople and then moved over to this site because a friend asked me to. I haven't seen any changes in the scales and notice that I do fine all day - its when I pick up the kids and the running starts - that I am FAMISHED and want to eat everything that moves....So I believe it is stress eating. I am going to keep logging- keep trying- this is LIFE we are talking about!!! Only get ONE shot!!!!
