How do I calculate calories burned for Insanity Max 30? Curious how to log it.

Heart rate monitor will give the best approximation for you...it is effort based, and I doubt that your effort matches anyone else's...number of reps, did you modify, when did you max out, number of breaks...this all goes into the burn for a given individual...simply pressing play and standing there does burn any calories
Are you hoping to eat back your exercise calories? Be careful, there are lots of ways to really overestimate
Good luck0 -
Really no way to estimate, even with a HRM. They're designed more for steady state cardio and not high intensity routines. It's really all dependent on the amount of effort you put in. There really is not set standard as each person will be different. For something like that, I'd give myself about 350 calories and then eat only half of those back. That way you're pretty safe and then adjust up or down from there.0

Makes sense. Thanks!0

Yeah for anything like that I use "circuit training - general" or "aerobics, high impact" and don't eat it all back0
