Need opinions on Trackers

Getting my new life into order, but I want to track what I can! I work out little to moderate depending on the trainer's schedule that day. I want a fitness band that won't break the bank, and can track my heart rate, steps and at the end of the day a DECENTLY SEMI-ACCURATE calories burned over all.

Back in the day I used to have a Jawbone UP, and I loved it. But it's been 3 years and I am curious to opinions on this before I make a choice. I tend to stay away from articles as most are paid writers who give favor, I figured you guys use them, you have better biased opinions!

Choose one with a heart rate monitor. It'll be more accurate than one without. Still not 100%, but much closer. I have the Fitbit Charge HR and love it! Took me some adjusting, but it's really helpful for me, not only for tracking calories burned but for keep track of my heartbeat.

Do you require a social aspect to it or not? (ie, do you do better with people poking and prodding you with it)

If so, Fitbit's line has it beat, hands down. Any model with an HRM will do.

Do you require it to be sweat/water proof?

If so, avoid Fitbit's line. They are neither.

Do you require smart watch features? (ie, phone notifications, txt msg notifications, etc etc)

If so, Garmin's Vivosmart or Vivoactive 2. They beat the others currently out, no competition.

I could care less for a social one, but it does have to be at least moisture resistant for sweat and hand washing. As for smart watch options, no. My cell phone is all I need for cell phone notifications.

Fitbits are moisture resistant. You can sweat in them, wash dishes, etc. Just make sure to dry the sensor on the inside when you're done and you're fine. Can't wear it to swim or shower, though.
