Surgery Caused Undereating

I had the gastric sleeve in February, and although I've, for the most part, been able to graduate to solid food, I find that I still can't eat much. I'm averaging out about 500-600 calories a day, and I know I should be getting at least 1000. Any tips?

Eat more calorie dense foods, you can Google for more suggestions but things like avacado, nuts/nut butters, and dried fruit. You want to make choices that pack a nutritious punch into your day and round out those calories
Especially right now, you need those calories. My mom just had her sleeve done and is still on liquids but is making up a few sample meal plans with some of these high calorie foods each day.0 -
Agreed, eat more calorie dense foods. It's the easiest way to eat more calories without adding bulk. Stay away from "low fat", "non fat", etc. Add cheese, oil, butter, etc. to everything.0
