Good morning
I am new to the community.
I am 63 yes old. Weigh 77kg. I am 5ft 3 in. I have hurt my back so need to loose weight. Also I was referred to as "large Marj". So need to do something
I have decided to follow a sustainable eating plan. I am erring somewhere as the weight is not moving.
I am medically fit and healthy. I have been on every diet imaginable. I would like to hear from people who have been successful, as am feeling a bit despondent
Thank you
marj

Hi Marj, there could be many reasons you have a difficult time losing weight. Would be glad to help if I knew more. Send me a friend request if you are interested0

Hey Marj,
I am sort of in the same situation as well. I hurt my back just over 2 years ago and had back surgery. I am back into working out now. I suggest finding something that you like, check out a local gym. For me and my back injury I love the spin classes. Hard work but I see great rewards from them and they are helping me tremendously.0 -
Welcome Marj! Have you read this?

Have you plugged your stats into MFP? Have you gotten your calorie goal for the day? Do you stay within your goal everyday? Are you trying to move more? Be sure you're weighing and measuring your food. Invest in a digital scale (they're cheap) and use it. Try doing all this for 2 weeks, if you're still not losing let us know.0

Hi large Marj - (lol not what I would want to be called either but the rhyming is quite cute)
When you say you've been on every diet imaginable - what are the ones you have tried and not worked?
Were there any successful times you dieted? It's going to be hard for you as back pain could mean a lot less mobility for you - how bad is it? Exercise is just the icing on the cake!
