Challenge - five pounds a month - five months - who is in?

I find that I am exercising. Eating healthy and logging all my food but the scale continues to go up and down quite a bit. So frustrating!!! My clothes fit better and my muscle weight is up but still frustrating1

I can completely relate. This has been my struggle for years. I don't necessarily eat healthy. But, I do log everything. Always (almost) under my daily calorie goal. If you are building muscle, tho you may not see that change you want on the scale. I went to the gym 5-6 days a week for 2 yrs, I lost 4lbs...I don't work out near as much, now. But, I do walk 5-6 days a week.. The scale has barely moved. It is incredibly frustrating. I just keep plugin along and hope I will get there one day. Hang in there. You'll get there.0 -

Hello, everyone! Just wanted to add that I am actually slowly getting there. I myself am being surprised at times looking at my capability to control my cravings [I have a huuuuuge sweet tooth than you can imagine]. I'm really proud of myself. I shall log my stats on the 30th as it would mark a month since I started this healthy lifestyle thingy1 -

Loss for the month 8.2 lbs yay!!!

Challenge this week: Daily exercise! Now being home for misted away working and getting back into the routine at home lots of extra chores have to make that time for exercising
Happy with my progress this week, only gained a smidge among all the social events this weekend.

Weight is the same on the scale. I am noticing small changes in the way my clothing fits..... Maybe I need a new scale0

So, I decided that I needed to weigh myself on another scale... As mine is not moving whatsoever... Talk about devastated! Yes, I was wearing my work clothes (heavy shorts) took my shoes off hoping to be of a little help... The scale literally read 8lbs heavier!!!! Really?!?! I know you subtract a bit for clothes...8lbs?!?! Heartbroken!0

I seem to be taking it for granted after losing 14 lbs in 2 months. I really hope to stay motivated and continue to lose 7 lbs per month so I can reach my GW by the end of August.1 -
