I'm posting this for my wife. Does anyone with a latex allergy have any recommendations for sports bras and other fitness gear that are latex free? We had a bit of an ah ha moment today with elastic in Under Armour sports bras. We are obviously searching the internet and 'ol trusty Google, but I thought that I'd add an ask here.

I have a latex sensitivity - thankfully not a full-blown allergy. But I can't use quite a few types of bandaids, and the birth control patch put me in the hospital once - followed by a second hospital trip thanks to my idiocy and some latex paint. Anyway, I've never had a reaction to any underwear, but a quick google search brought up Victoria Secret as a bra-spot that labels their equipment as having latex if it's in there. I just bought a VS sports bra the other day and did a 10 mile run in it - it works really well for heavy aerobics - nice and supportive... And apparently latex free. I"m trying to verify if that's actually true... now I"m curious. :) I hope you and your wife find something that works for her... and that you'll let us know what you find.

Thank you. That is very helpful. We did some searching today and have some other pretty good ideas. It's just one of those things neither one of us was focused on I guess.

I use Shock Absorber and Nike clothing usually, and have never had an issue; however once a waistband on a pair of Nike shorts caused a horrific reaction! I've since realised it should indicate all materials used on the label or box, although I'm sure your wife has more common sense than I do and had probably already though of that.
