How does MFP use heart rate data? Vivosmart HR

Ok so still in my first week here. Yesterday got a Vivosmart HR.
I can see all my HR data in the Garmin Connect app which also synced with MFP app.
In MFP I can see adjustments for steps etc but nothing for HR?
Any tips?

It doesn't use HR at all. Garmin Connect may use it to calculate calories and exchange that data, but not HR specifically.0

Same with fitbit. I have the charge hr and when it syncs to mfp, all I see it my step count and a calorie count added. AFAIK, fitbit adds your exercise calories to the whole when it syncs. Which I why I never eat back all my added calories. Fitbit may say I burned 800 calories when most of that was normal activity (walking). I just take the calories burned from the logged workout on fitbit and eat maybe half that back. Tonight my workout was only a 220cal burn so I only calculated for a 100cal snack after. Not the 800+ fitbit synced.0

@capaul42 - Sounds like your activity level is set too low.
From in the MFP App, if you tap your adjustment twice, you should pull up a screen that shows you the math behind your adjustment.
From the website, click the little " i " next to your Fitbit calorie adjustment in your exercise log.
Basically an 800 calorie adjustment from Fitbit means that your total calories burned for the day is 800 more than what MFP estimated it would be.
An example for you:
My activity level is set to very active (I think) on MFP at the moment. If I lower my activity level to say lightly active, MFP thinks I only burn 1800 calories in a day which results in a larger adjustment.0 -

Garmin will use it for the calorie burns that it sends to MFP.0
