Is there a right way to exercise? I want to lose weight and I want to avoid saggy skin as much as possible. I've mainly been doing cardio but they keep telling me that lifting weights it's essential to losing weight and making skin tighter. What are some exercises or combination that you guys recommend? I do want to get toned up eventually but losing weight is more of a priority right now . Thanks for the advice/help !!!!

There is no right or wrong - you need to do exercise you enjoy and find a programme you will stick to. That is how you get results. However, weight loss starts in the kitchen and you need to eat at a deficit to drop pounds. As for adding lifting in order to preserve muscle mass and help with the saggy skin issue I would say good idea! Do it now, don't wait until you've lost the weight. I added SL5X5 a few months ago and I wish I'd done it from the start!
If you do want to add strength training, look for a proper programme to follow such as strong lifts or new rules. I also think circuit training is a good way to add some weight training with cardiovascular fitness combined!

There is no right way. The only right way is ot find something you enjoy, or you are going to stop sooner or later.
Ideally you will benefit from a combination of cardio and resistance training. But how you approach these things, it is up to you. If you want to lift, find someone to show you the basics.0
