Should I classify myself as Active or Lightly active?

I work in Retail Management, so I am on my feet for most of my shifts, walking around the store. I also do not own a car (yet, thats gonna change soon), so I take the bus and walk when I need to.

I also started working out last week.

Should I change my classification from Lightly Active to Active? Does the app take Exercising into account for this specific profile option, or is it asking me how active I am outside of exercising?

Lightly active. It's asking outside of exercise.
I walk around campus a lot (with a heavy backpack) and am on my feet often at work, but I still have it down as sedentary.

Lightly active by this app. For exercise - just input it as you do it and it will adjust your calories for the day accordingly.

Exercise isn't part of the activity setting - that's why you log it separately.
So my initial setting was sedentary (mouse jockey) even though I exercise most days.

It's just a start point, adjust after a while (manually or by setting) if your results don't match expectations.
Retail/on your feet suggests lightly active to me.

I think if u have a job that keeps u on ur feet u should say active. I'm a nail tech so unless I get on the treadmill it's kinda scary.
