Bathroom Scales: HELP

Hey, I have not had a good history with bathroom scales as they all seem to fluctuate weight by huge amounts in the EXACT same spot with seconds between weighing without moving it which is a real problem. I was wondering if anyone has accurate scales that don't do this that aren't too expensive either as I need a set :)

I just bought some Salter scales from Argos a couple of years back and they're still going strong. A few people also recommend the Weightwatchers ones.

Also ensure your floor is level and better to place them on a hard flooring such as wood or tile rather than carpet.

Yeah scales are super frustrating. Definitely make sure you have them on a hard level surface like tile or wood, carpet is useless. I picked up a nice cheap set in sports direct that seem to do the trick pretty well. Once you have a set just stick to it and then at least there's some internal consistency. Also try to weigh at the same time, (morning!)

hard floor is essential. We have an ancient analogue scale - we had a digital one but it really did fluctuate madly. If yours is digital try changing the battery

I also get comeone else to read it for me as it moves if I bend down, and the divisions are in 2lb sections.
