Hi I'm Emma 34 a mommy to four boys and since my last child I can't shift any weight, :( I'm 69kg (10stone 13lbs and 5'7 size 10 -12 in clothes. My eating habits are awful, only really eat at our evening meal and pick throughout the day, I'm so tired all the time, taking iron, and multi vit plus vit b2 to try combat my migraines. Any help would be truly appreciated.

What exactly are you expecting help with? It seems like you've identified where you're going wrong (which means you're in a better position than most newbies on here), it's only you who can do something about it. If I could give any advice based on what you've said, it would be to plan a couple of meals during the day so you're not picking at things mindlessly to struggle your way through to the evening. It's that picking at things which will likely hamper your results because it all adds up.

It is, you're completely right, but habits are hard to break and I don't get time to do myself something substantial... I do drink lots though, again something I've always done. But skipping meals isn't obviously working or maybe I'm stuck in that middle age rut?! I don't know. This is my 3Rd and last time with mfp so fingers crossed.
    Thank you

Yes, habits are hard to break, but they are not impossible. If you want to change, you need to make changes. No one can do it for you. (I don't mean this to sound harsh, really.)

Its not easy to change habits but it CAN be done, bit by bit and over time you can break bad habits and make good ones
You need to start planning your meals ahead, if you are satisfied and full from each meal that usually means you will be less likely to reach for the stuff you shouldn't.

If you haven't been tracking your calories, its time to start and time to get serious about losing weight. You don't have too much to lose.

    Wishing you all the best.

Your diary is private so it's hard to give any advice that's not based solely on what you said. If you are eating below your TDEE you will lose weight. Being tired all the time could also be due to a health issue, such as hypothyroid, which can hamper results.
Be honest with yourself about what and how much you're eating, and how much activity you get.

You don't need much time to do this right, honestly. Even if you just nip to a store and buy something like a packaged pasta salad, that'll be entirely fine if it helps you (don't stress the packaged food scare stories, if they work for you, they are good). There are 'hacks' to eating to make it more convenient.

emma i have learned that if you do not eat your limit of calories you will not lose weight, your body will go in starvation mode, you need fuel to burn calories, you can do it ,after you know you calorie limit you eat all of them, and you will lose wt
