GM Diet

Day 1 of the GM diet I'm hoping this jumps starts my weight loss will be following for 7 days & then I'm thinking of following a Vegetarian diet with the odd bit of fish.
Just purchased a food steamer & low calorie steamer recipe book.

Any experiences from other people?

Why not just plug your stats into MFP and eat whatever you want within the number that it gives you?

You're not a flat car battery. Nothing needs a "jump start".

Nothing can jump start your weight loss, especially not a diet that lies to you about where it's from.

It's all about CICO. Why restrict yourself for 7 days when you can eat whatever you want in smaller portions and still lose weight? You can be a vegetarian and still gain weight. Just follow mfp and you will lose weight gradually.

Not putting down vegetarianism, but why start with a crash diet and then flip your whole way of eating upside down? Whatever type of diet you settle on, adjusting your diet to lose weight can be done in baby steps. Some people do it all at once and succeed, sure, but I'd guess they are in the minority.

Why do you want to go on a specific diet? Most people here eat everything and lose like mad, me including.
