When doing a weight training program, do you also do cardio or other exercises?

I do, but not in the same workout. I lift heavy Mon/Wed, and try to get in a run Tues/Thurs/sun. Or something like that... I fill in with all kinds if work out videos...

I do only what my programmer tells me to. For my current training cycle, I have 15 minutes total of cardio a week, and that is toned down to an easy cycle.

If I had a large amount of weight to cut, I'd get more cardio. But I keep myself close to my weight class.

Personally, no. But lots of people do-yes.

how much cardio you should do depends on your goals. I focus primarily on strength and I don't do any steady state cardio .

An ideal program combines strength, cardio and flexibility.

An even better program is one that you will do consistently.

if I weight train I may add in say 10 min of cardio at the end, IF I have the energy, otherwise I will do my cardio the following day.if I feel like I really worked my muscles and dont have the energy I pass on the cardio.
