Too much muscle, help!

I just did my measurements today and for one week I`ve lost around 1-2 cm everywhere, BUT on the thigh and calf area I`ve gained 2 cm on the calfs and 3 on the thighs and that is really anoying! That`s one of the reasons I hated my body when I was a teenager (every time I start doing regular exercises I gain muscle) I had this really small upper half and giant muscular legs, which on my height and petite structure, look ridiculous T_T. Somebody please tell me what can I do to not gain more muscle on my legs? I really don`t want to stop exercising, but I don`t want big muscular legs.

No doubt you'll get a heap of you cant spot reduce comments on this thread, which is true. I am similar to you but I am working on upper body strength (of which I have none ATM), my thinking is that by making my arms/upper body more muscular my legs wont look disproportionate.
Legs carry around all our excess weight, ever noticed that bigger loser contestants legs still look big when they leave the ranch. Over time as the muscle doesnt need to carry around so much weight it will slim down.
IMO its better to have big muscular legs than skinnier flabby ones.0 -
Muscles "plump up" with water for repair when you first start working out, so don't worry, this is likely not going to continue and as you continue losing weight the measurements will likely go down. As for your shape, sadly there is little you could do about it. If you are a pear you will still be a pear even after you lose weight, especially if you have always been a pear. To balance it out, you could try to build up your shoulder muscles once you are done losing weight.0

I suppose that nothing much can be done, I`ll try to do something about my upper body, though I like it like it is. Thanks for the comments guys0
