We are our worse critics

Anyone ever seen "Anger Management", the "porker" scene with Heather Graham? If you're like her(I realize I could be)we could be very hard ourselves. Any tips for maintaining sanity against our own false self thoughts?

Track what you did right vs mistakes. I can often get into that negativity by saying I didn't workout or didn't eat enough vegetables or adding 'but' to a positive statement "I worked out, but not as hard as I could have".. Instead, look at the positives - what did I say no to, did I bring my lunch to work or did I make sure my fridge is stocked with multiple healthy options. I also try to not focus on one day...look at a week or month of reports, seeing the positives. Lately, my positive is that I've logged all my food for the week, regardless of the calories.
