.... last one was much more deliberate - I hit a steakhouse with a friend of mine who was celebrating her retirement (this was about four or five months ago) and I had a 14 ounce ribeye with a side of french fries, sourdough bread with butter, all the extras, plus an entire pan cookie for dessert. Went over by 3,000 calories that night.
Last night was less deliberate. I was just tired - really tired. I've been pushing it really hard lately, lots of workouts, too little sleep, up too late with the girlfriend the other night (that part made it basically worth it).
Anyways, I had a bunch of homemade cookies around the house I was planning on giving away at some point. Instead I started eating them. Ended up having like 8-9 of them. Over by almost 1500 calories at the end of the day.
Oddly, I'm still under for the week. But, I feel fat this morning (yes, I think fat can be a feeling). Scale is out of batteries though. Oh well.
Onwards. I slept extra last night, got to bed at 9pm (yay, me!). I plan on doing a long run tonight and making sure to pre-log all my food. Nothing better than getting right back on track after a disgusting, albeit unplanned cheat day.
As a sidenote - I make very good cookies. They were chocolate-covered.
