Help! Back on the Wagon

How do you start this weight loss journey without getting frustrated, hungry and tired? Just started using MFP again after a hiatus of about a year. Using Diet Bet, as well, to help me stay motivated to drop pounds. Could really use some advice for what will help motivate me over the struggle of losing weight... And I have more than 100 lbs I'd love to get rid of!
I'm a 30 year old female, I'm at pretty much my heaviest, and I have to get way back on track. I want to feel better and yeah hopefully look slamming!

The first step for me was when I hit my heaviest (215#) and I knew I had to do something. So, I changed the way I worked out. I joined a different gym that offered combative sports type classes. I worked harder than I ever did in the past at a normal gym. So, that could be an option. I started MFP and started tracking everything to see where I was messing up. I don't track all that much anymore as it has became more of a lifestyle than a chore. You are the one that has to make the choice to change AND be the one to stick with it. You will fell worse before you feel better. Not gonna lie. And to look slamming, is going to take a bit but it is achievable.0

Sensible, non-aggressive calorie deficit. Eating the most I could eat while losing. I lost slowly. That's the second piece of the puzzle - no rushing.1

I would start by logging everything - without trying to change anything the first few days. Then I would try to cut a bit on the calories from things I think I can get without. And then slowly progress towards my calorie goal (I suggest you just put it at .5 lbs for now). If you're struggling mentally with the idea of dieting again just try to do it slowly without big changes. I think the motivation will come after some time. I think once you get into it again and see that you can eat satisfactory and still lose weight you'll get motivated.1

Log everything, weigh what you can. Be persistent. It will come off.1

I would make sure I wasn't depriving myself, neither qualitatively nor quantitatively - meaning, not going too low on calories (obviously not trying to eat 1200 at your weight), and not cutting out any food groups, or treats completely. I would start small, with one or two behaviors that I knew I could stick to. When that feels normal, tackle another set of habits. Not relying on willpower or motivation - the former must be saved for emergencies, the latter tends to come and go. Weight loss is a slow process and takes a sustained effort. You can't force it. Persistence, consistency, patience, accuracy, honesty, realistic expectations, are the attitudes you need to strengthen.1

i have periods where im better or worse, but always log in, and have never been off track for more than a month, and usually only a week or so when i DO have a bad period.
I've come too far to be off track for long.0
