Cedar Point

Hi MFP peeps! I have a little bit of a random question. Have anyone been to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH lately and got on all the rides? I am looking for some perspective. My BF and I and a few friends booked a trip there for August. I am a roller coaster junkie but over the last 10-ish years have been limited because of my size. Since April 2015 I have lost 134 lbs, going from 352 to 218 in a year's time. My goal is 185-195 (I'm tall with a large frame). I plan on being at least under 200 by the time we go, if not at my goal. Everyone seems to think that I will have no problem fitting in the seats but for anyone who has lost a lot of weight, you know it's a mental challenge sometimes to see yourself as fit/thin as everyone else sees you. I guess I'm just looking to see if any "plus size" ladies or bigger framed men (BF is about 280 and 5'10") have been on the coasters lately and what their take on it is. I am 5'10", 218 lbs, a size 12/14 and a Large on top.

I go to Cedar Point almost every year. I would say it probably depends on the ride, but at the weight you are now (and looking at your profile pictures) I don't think you will have a problem. Some of the older rides, like the Blue Streak, are a tighter squeeze but most of the bigger/newer coasters have larger seats. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Cedar Point is so much fun! You will have a great time.
