I was just commenting to my husband about how I am not in the same shape I was in last year. I run a bit more actually, but I have more aches and pains. 1 year of age doesn't really explain it to me, so what else has changed?
Diet, weight, all about the same. But as my dog has gotten older, he struggles walking to the end of the street, let alone around the block. So instead of walking 1-2km 3-5 times a day, plus an hour of fetching and tugging, we now walk a few hundred meters 3 times a day, and sit in the park tugging. It didn't seem like much of a difference, especially since it came about gradually, but I can feel it in my legs...
Anyhow, I just thought that would be a good reason to get back to walking more :-)
